Service that we did:
We visited a family member that is not able to leave her home.
She is in declining health.
How it blessed our family:
The time spent was filled with love for one another. Her caregivers have let us know how much joy it brought to her as well as to us. The sweetest of memories are made when we remember to spend time with friends and family who are lonely.
-60 Letters were written to those needing encouragement and the missionaries.
-12 adorable pictures drawn from kids to missionaries.
-404 complete hygiene kits for refugees around the world.
-A representative from lifting hands international will pick them up from my garage on Thursday.
-A demonstration was given by Heather Stuart of the 25th Ward on how to make mats for those who are homeless.
-The 28th Ward youth did a Service Scavenger hunt in our ward where we stopped at random ward members houses and asked if we could take out the trash, pull weeds, or walk the dog. The next week we did dinner deliveries to some families that needed extra love. Service brings a smile to everyone’s faces!
-I pulled weeds around my neighborhood. It only took 45 minutes but I think the yards look so much better
